Reviews for Pro Football's Dream Teams

Booklist Reviews 2010 December #2
Rather than devoting each volume to an individual team and its history, the books in the Football-O-Rama series take a more holistic approach to the NFL's current powerhouse teams and players. While this won't help the books from becoming almost immediately dated like other pro sports books, it does make them stand apart in a crowded field (though fans of smaller-market teams may object to some of the choices). Pro Football's Dream Teams profiles the AFC-heavy group of the Patriots, Steelers, Colts, and Saints. A page of each team's highlights is followed by a look at how they've managed to maintain perennial success. Crisp, full-bleed action photos add some zing, and a glossary and list of further resources round out each offering. Copyright 2010 Booklist Reviews.

Horn Book Guide Reviews 2011 Spring
This volume begins with a brief cliffhanger preview of the 2010 Super Bowl game. The text then delves into quarterback Brees's early life and career before shifting to the big game, showing how he led the Saints to victory. Other key players are briefly highlighted. Analysis is slight; the clear action photographs are what might attract football fans. Reading list. Glos., ind. Copyright 2011 Horn Book Guide Reviews.
