Reviews for Monster at the End of This Book

Horn Book Guide Reviews 2004 Fall
Grover (from "Sesame Street") beseeches the reader not to turn the page because "there is a Monster at the end of this book." When persuasion doesn't work, he ties knots, nails up boards, and even builds a brick wall, but to no avail. The interactivity of text and art is perfectly pitched to young children, and the end is funny and satisfying--even if one has already guessed the Monster's identity.
